HERITAGE ACCESS FACILITATOR - STUDENT OPPORTUNITY

Heritage Access Facilitator

July 16th, 2018 – August 24th, 2018

 

The Port Colborne Historical and Marine Museum is hiring a student to join the team as a Heritage Access Facilitator. The successful student must be enrolled in the field of history, library sciences, public history, archival studies and/or museum.   The student will work Monday – Friday from 9 am – 5 pm, preparing an index of the Rawlins Collection for heritage researchers, a slide show of the Rawlins images for a public presentation and will digitize and store the collection for preservation.  This position will also assist in the preventative conservation of the collection by digitizing, storing and caring for the collection that will be held together in the Heritage Resource Centre. 

 

Wage:  $14.00
