Cautionary notice issued by Fire Department when preparing food outdoors

Cautionary Notice

Fire Chief Thomas Cartwright is requesting that extreme caution be used when preparing food outdoors through the use of an open air fire.

Should the extreme dry conditions continue over the next several days, the Fire Chief will be issuing a ban on all open air fires throughout the City, including campgrounds. Please assist us in keeping our community safe from fire.
