The Easter Bunny is coming to Port Colborne and he's bringing plenty of goodies for the kiddies.

The seventh annual Easter egg hunt takes place Sunday starting at 11:30 a.m. on West St. in front of the Nutty Chocolatier.

Organizer Christal Langerak said the hunt usually takes an hour to complete.

No registration is required. Just show up and go hunting, she said.

Participants won't actually be searching eggs, but rather coloured rocks, which they will bring back to organizers in exchange for goody bags.

Langerak expects between 300 and 400 participants. There were about 300 for last year's hunt.

She said organizing this type of event takes time and effort, but it's all worth it.

"It gets easier every year," she said.
